Ehime Prefecture's recruitment fair for Indonesians under the 'technical/humanities/international services' visa attracted 487 applicants for 14 local companies, resulting in 12 hires aged 23 to 30. Seven newcomers visited Governor Nakamura, while four joined online, all speaking fluent Japanese about their future aims. As of June 2025, 42 Indonesians in Ehime hold this visa; the prefecture plans to continue promoting the acceptance of highly skilled foreign talent in fiscal 2026 to meet corporate needs.
